Top-down change is no longer a viable option. It’s becoming increasingly clear that the complex issues we now face can only be properly addressed with the active participation of everyone involved. We urgently need to encourage and support bottom up participation in the decisions that affect us. If we want better decisions and better outcomes people need to be empowered to influence these situations and mobilised to act.
